We were invited by the Proper Mag team to host a hands-on workshop alongside Rab at The Epicentre store in the Lake District. No strangers to salvaged outdoor gear, we drew on our studio expertise to design a functional bag accessible to sewers of all skill levels, including complete beginners. The design uses an integrated laser-cut nylon grid that provides internal structure, allowing the pattern to work seamlessly across a wide spectrum of lightweight to heavy-duty textiles. Over the course of the session, participants deconstructed and repurposed a range of damaged Rab waterproof shells and insulation pieces, including down sleeping bags!
