Space Available x Greater Goods

by Jaimus Tailor

We joined forces with the Bali based creative brand Space Available to host a collaborative workshop with master weaver and craftsman Nano Uhero as part of the

CIRCULAR DESIGN ACADEMY (CDA).

We left the sewing machines back in London and focused on the Indonesian craft of weaving with rattan as well as nylon jackets to create unique sculptures based on the shape of a badminton shuttlecock. Badminton is the national sport in indonsiean and has strong roots in Greater Goods (more on that later).

To wrap up the workshop we threw a street party at the Space Available Museum the following week and whipped up some woven creations with Nano Uhero.
