Even with an endless budget, buying Vincent van Gogh’s original Starry Night out of MoMA’s collection simply isn't an option. So I decided to make our own. Dubbed "Vincent Van Gore-Tex," the piece took over 100 hours of sewing to assemble 10,000+ individually hand-cut scraps of discarded technical Nylon Gore-tex and Softshell fabric into a reimagined canvas. While Greater Goods, is best known for transforming off-cut outerwear into functional apparel and accessories, this project was about taking upcycling a step further.
